“God of War II” brings the formula of the first two games to Play Station 3 with minor variations but with a much more epic sense of scale. There is really nothing we haven't already seen in the previous games, but the graphic upgrades, the fluidity of the gameplay, and the epic boss fights are enough to make it the pinnacle of the series before the soft-reboot in 2018.
