Performance-wise, the RF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM has very few flaws. It might just be the single most consistent 24-105mm lens on the market. The EFS 15-85mm had shown me I could manage with an F4 lens and the wide zoom range was useful. The RF 24-240mm was tempting but the extra barrel length was less welcome for general use. The RF 24-105 F4 is living up to expectations with some fine shots matching the quality of the 100mm macro but with the extra flexibility of the zoom.
